Education and Early Career

Katherine's career began with a foundation of discipline and leadership forged during her service as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy. This role, which included two deployments, honed her skills in problem-solving and compassionate leadership under pressure. Following her service, she pursued a strong academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State San Marcos. She continued her academic journey, earning a Masters of Arts in Physical Education, with Added Authorization in Adapted Physical Education. This combined experience in military service and academia laid the groundwork for her professional achievements.

Beyond the Boardroom

When not leading Sirene Solutions, Katherine enjoys mentoring teaching candidates, hiking, yoga, weightlifting, and spending time with family. She is also an active member of SCAPE, CAHPERD (California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance), and The Special Olympics, further demonstrating her commitment to making a difference.
